We offer to take your brief and prepare a feasibility study that will include architecture:m visiting either your home or your site and undertaking preliminary sketch designs.
The visit will usually be by way of:
1. Establishing your brief for the project and discussing any ideas that you already have.
2. Undertaking a limited survey of the property and in particular the area to be developed
3. Preparing sketch proposals whilst with you based on your brief
4. Developing them and agreeing an outline sketch scheme before the end of the meeting.
5. Taking photographs to record the site
On returning to the office we will produce a document based around the outcome of the meeting.
The feasibility study may contain various elements such as
-
•Site Plan
-
•Initial Survey Plans
-
•Overview to the brief
-
•Design Options to the brief, as well as brief overview to the options
-
•Concept Ideas - illustrating how other projects have been resolved
-
•An overview to the recent Planning History to the site
-
•The Local Councils Planning Policy for that location
We will present the document to you by post, then follow up with a second visit to discuss the options and taking the project forward.
This design study is used as the basis for agreeing further works.
